The goals of this gender café are:
This participative discussion will feature case studies from Bangladesh, Lebanon, Poland, and Sweden. We will hold space for collective brainstorming and strategizing. Details of the panelists to follow soon. Join us!
CCINDLE Project works directly with feminist grassroots activists, institutional actors, and gender professionals, co-creating theoretical and practical knowledge on anti-gender campaigns and how they challenge democracy, futures envisioned in feminist theories and practices related to democracy in Europe with respect to intersectional justice, inclusion, and participation; and feminist movements and feminist institutional responses to AntiGender and other anti-democratic forces.
Previously, in November 2023, the SGP organized a Gender Café to discuss the rising influence of AntiGender movements in Turkey, Paraguay, Bulgaria, and Kenya. Watch the recording of this event at https://genderprofessionals.org/listing/understanding-and-countering-anti-gender-movements/
